Program Manager

Alpha Technologies, which provides world-class powering solutions, seeks a Program Manager for its Fulfillment Operations team in Bellingham, WA. This person will work closely with the management team to contribute to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices. They will interact with peers and upper level management, manage department personnel and support departmental deliverables while dealing with internal and external customer demands. This role provides leadership and oversight for the organization workflows and processes supporting end to end fulfillment of Construction and EF&I project orders and service billings and will be responsible for ensuring organizational effectiveness while meeting department productivity and quality goals. Responsibilities: • Manage day to day processing of customer purchase orders and service billings • Manage department workflow functions • Accomplish department objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees • Serve as the escalation point for day-to-day operational and customer impacting issues • Manage the back office support team; drive department initiatives to support continual improvement and team effectiveness • Serve as main liaison between office support team and business unit managers • Work with Sales, Field Services and Project Management to ensure SAP functionality supports customer invoicing and reporting requirements • Create and maintain reports to measure success of department initiatives • Contribute to long and short term department planning and strategy • Develop, maintain and monitor department work instructions and work flow charts • Meet established department goals and metric targets related to cycle time and quality • Provide feedback on matters related to department operations to peers and upper management • Organize and oversee department record retention and archival process • Organize and prepare department reports and presentations as needed • Participate in internal and external audits as needed Additional Responsibilities may include special projects as assigned by manager Requirements and Skills: Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent military training in the field of business or related Experience: 4 - 6 years in business administration Supervisory: 2 - 4 years • Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style • Experience with budget development and oversight experience • Ability to look at situations from several points of view • Ability to operate in a fast paced, community environment • Excel in working in a diverse environment • Will work on-site (no tele-commuting) • Ability to speak/read/write English • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills • Work well under pressure • Sufficient credit line for business expenses Knowledge of repair service industry is desirable.
